Carb conundrums
Looking for advice and expertise on 2 issues. First is this; riding along just fine on an Easter run, last 10 miles of the 80 and as i slowed for lights and eased off the throttle the scoot stuttered to a stall. Eventually it re-started but wouldnt idle and had to be revved to keep going. I got home...

Re: T5 172, bgm big box or sip road xl?
Ive just bought a SIP road XL for my T5 Classic with 172 kit and Cosa 21T clutch. Originally I'd a leo vince on (as thats what came on the scoot when i bought it), Id have loved one of the big stainless sip expansion chambers but my budget couldnt stretch or justify the £300+ so when i read the revi...

Re: Malossi 172 running in period - conflicting info!!
Thanks guys, I'll let you know how my experience goes (if the kit ever arrives!! - beedspeed are awfully slow). Chiselspeed had the head modified and posted back within 48 hours- well impressed.

Malossi 172 running in period - conflicting info!!
As I eagerly await my 172 kit arriving via the postman, I've been reading some info on the running in period. The instructions that come with the kit suggest not exceeding 45mph for the first 300 miles but wasp performance have a document that states you should only maintain half throttle for the fi...

Malossi 172 - Head advice needed
I'm about to take the plunge and buy myself a Malossi 172 Kit for my T5 classic for Xmas. I understand I have to buy an altered cylinder head too. Do the ones on SIP (the MMW ones at £165) have any advantage over having my own sent off to PM (or other tuner) to be altered at a fraction of the price?...

My scenario is this; Ive ...

Re: Brighter lights
The lens is fine. It's just when I motd it yesterday the inspector gave me a bit of a look when he checked the lights that said 'f@@k they're dim' . Can you buy xenon or halogen bulbs / lights that are compatible?
