Why do you feel the need to use a lower guide with the above? As for the tensioner: Casa= brilliant. GT= not so brilliant. I’ve got no experience of any of the others.

Its not on a series 1 or 2 is it? Or have a series 2 kick start? If yes then it will be harder to start.

Mixture screw should be about 1.5 turns out not all the way in.

The series 1 flange also has a larger diameter outer seal that is accessible from the outside. Sorry just saying. The series 1also has a bearing that is lubricated by petroil,all the rest are grease packed The one ive just done was like a series 3 with an inner and outer seal, grease etc. Just that...

Ok I know the thread is almost 10 years old but I’m curious as to what was causing your vibration issues. Did you get it sorted in the end?

The spring on the adjuster serves no other purpose than to put tension against the cam of the brass knurled adjusting nut to keep it in place and stop it unscrewing and falling off.

AF Rayspeed do these rings. If you manage to get through on the phone you should have them next day. (Maybe 2or 3 at the moment).

I use mypol tubes. They fit in every way without drama. +1 i use because the valves are off centre to suit Lambretta Rims Thanks guys. Looks like what I need. You need to get a 45 degree valve tube, you can get them from AFRayspeed (the 90 degree valve is used on the back wheel). And then the back ...
