3 speed PK50

Hello,
I've just picked-up a PK50XL Rush and was surprised to see it's a 3 speed. I can't find match on the web abut this model, or 3 speed PK 50s - can anybody shed any light?
Many thanks,
Rob

Re: Disc component ID

I think I just answered my own question - I removed built-up paint from the opposite side to the 'C' and can see 'BREVETTATO'. so I guess these were made both with the circle around the 'C' (as I've seen before) and without the circle (as in the pic below). Please let me know if anybody knows differ...

Disc component ID

Hello,

Please can I ask for help identifying whether my disc backing plate is an innocenti item - it has the 'C' near the air duct in the correct position, but the 'C' is not within a circle (as I thought was the case on the Campagnolo produced components).

Many thanks for any help.

DTC Corner

Years ago I remember seeing a brilliant web page about DTC scooters - I think it was called 'Neil's DTC Corner' and it was on the Blue and Gold SC website; anybody know if it still exists anywhere?

Re: Custom Painting S2 Fibreglass Panels...

Yes they are (well spotted!). I'm with you 100% I like them showing their history, and will leave the cracks unless there is a good way to stabilise them.

Re: Custom Painting S2 Fibreglass Panels...

Here are the hair-line cracks I'd like to improve. Repainting is not an option, so if I can't do anything about the cracks I'll live with them; I'd appreciate anybody's thoughts: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7438/26813935416_dd568bfe1f_c.jpg IMG_1427 by Robin Brown , on Flickr https://farm8.static...

Re: Custom Painting S2 Fibreglass Panels...

I've got some very special painted fibreglass panels with high-line cracks that I'd like to try to repair (without repainting). Has anybody had any luck repairing such cracks?

Thanks for the help

Re: Acetone works

It was actually a pleasure, every completed panel felt like I was preserving this wonderful old scooter. It was a especially rewarding to find the guy who painted it had not removed the original panel stripes or ink splat all those years ago. I was lucky that he had not rubbed it down very well, is ...

Re: Acetone works

I've had amazing results with acetone, here is my DL when I got it: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7637/26186287644_8d68206dbd.jpg IMG_0390 by Robin Brown , on Flickr And here she is after removal of the old paint job (with acetone and lots of rags): https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7349/26186293654_d...
