Re: 2K paint mask.
Thanks for reply coaster, I've got the disposable suits and gloves, not sure what what I'm going to do about heating yet. Don't like googles, in the past I've found they always fog up on me and don't sit right with a half face mask, so ideally I'd like to get a full face mask with the appropriate fi...

Re: 230 touring motor, which way to go?
Have an RT225 with a open mouthed 28mm dellorto and a JL pipe, Standard Indian GP 200 box giving a gear ratio of 5.20.1 with a 58x107 crank. Excellent motor with effortless power delivery and in my experience very quick and capable of sustained full throttle, however can't help myself gonna try a 19...

Re: TSR DJ Exhaust
Sorry about the late response to my question I've been a little distracted with work the past couple of weeks. I was hoping that the TSR DJ might give a decent performance coupled with nostalgic looks. I was expecting to have to trim the rear foot board but the uncertainty of other clearance issues ...

Re: Ideas please.
For what its worth to your quandary, I have been running an RT225 for about a year now. Excellent quality kit, I've been anything but gentle with it and its given me no bother at all, I run it with an open mouthed 28mm Dellorto and a JL exhaust with standard Indian GP200 gearing. Its pretty quick an...

Re: remove mag housing
Up graded my Indian GP to an RT225 last year and no problems with the strip down either. However my Italian LI was mega tight, like I said, tight on the rebuild as well, yet the engine appeared to be untouched and as per original factory spec. Oh the joys !

Re: remove mag housing
I had this very same issue when recently stripping an untouched 51 year old series 3 LI125. Like the previous post, I had to knock it off by hitting the crank from the chaincase side. Heat the mag flange and if you can turn the crank every second or third hit. Cleaned everything up and gave the slee...

Re: Time for a change.
I've been running an RT225 with an open mouthed 28mm dellorto, JL exhaust with standard Indian GP200 gearing. Got no complaints ! regularly does well over 70 with the set up that I have . It delivers its power effortlessly, a joy to ride. Used it for the Euro in Austria 2015 with no issues from the ...
