Has the bike got a side stand? I had this problem with my scoot, the bike did not like it when ticking over on the side stand and oil (correct amount in cases) came pouring out of the breather. Hope this helps mate

Thanks for the offer shocky but after advice on here and from where I got the kit, I am going to stick with the Del Si carb..

I have done a few rebuilds on the carb, lapped the bottom as it was really warped and still looks like fuel/oil splash on rear wheel, but I did forget to lap the bottom of carb box, which is another job for when I get h...

Yes gaz_powell.. If you look at the flywheel then one keyway is at the 10pm position the other is at 2pm position. Px is the 2pm position I believe..

Resolved. I changed the flywheel back to the original one as I had a lightended flywheel on. It sparked and then all started up. It was defo a schoolboy error on my part as this must have had something to do with not sitting on keyway correctly... Thanks for all the advice...

gaz_powell. Checked with another plug, also checked with spare Cdi i had knocking around which I am sure was working. Checked condition of wires to cdi, but not at the stator end. I did the checks though which I found on another website for resistance checks, all were bang on for tolerance. I am baf...

mick1, I dont think so, is there a way of checking using a multi meter?
