Hi timeexit, Well I adjusted the outer cable and the speedo is still not working, I can actually hear/feel the inner moving in the outer cable so I can only assume that the actual speedo is buggered (it was old and untested). Is it ok to put a standard 3.50/10 Michelin S1tyre on the wider cosa rim and if so is there any real benefit and does there need to be any modification to the frame/ engine shocks etc.

when you say "spinning wheel the other way " I take it you mean turning the the wheel in reverse (backwards, towards the bike)?
