im pleased you sorted it out pal, these issues are a pain with electronic ignitions, I did suggest flywheel was the fault or certainly worth trying, ive just fitted a full tambs internal and external kit so my mate will have 2 systems, if one fails he can switch to the other, belt and braces, well d...

there are realy only 3 parts to the electronic system, cdi/coil . stator and flywheel, I have heard of flywheel faults, if you have replaced stator and cdi maybe flywheel is wrong or faulty, can you borrow one to rule it out, I have also known stators to be faulty when new so I wouldn't rule that ou...

the marks on the outside of the pick up are only a guide, as soon as you get it to run a strobe should be used and adjustments made to get the 17 degrees, I have heard of crappy flywheels with the slot in the wrong place, if this turns out to be the case an Anthony tambs external pick-up would be a ...

good advice from garry, have you checked the alignment of the pickup with the triggering fingers in the flywheel ?

hi folks, been given a ts1 225 to rebuild by a friend, he wants it to be bullet proof and reliable, he already has a 34 mm mikuni on it and a tsr evo, he is happy with the gearbox and final drive ratio, so I was looking for recommendations, I was thinking of sticking a 62 crank in it and a new pisto...

your other option is to buy a rayspeed close ratio cluster and first and second gear and use your gp200 3rd and 4th to make up the full set, a good improvement over the standard gp200

my choice would be 5speed af, followed by 4 speed close ratio, then sil gp 200 in that order, I am just saving up for a 5 speed, was in there on Saturday and they have had no breakages reported since they did the upgrade
