had a brake light switch cause the same issue, was shorting to earth, so worth checking if you don't find a fault elsewhere

a shorter rear shocker will give the head more space on the first frame you had it in, a center plug head would help too, offset cones might help as well, been through this with my rotax, my barrel is slightly leaning down to give more clearance and I trimmed the head, and a short spark plug, ways a...

got my 38mm carb fitted and took my scooter to martin at chiselspeed to get it set up correctly, got it on the rolling road and it managed 40bhp very pleased, took it for a ride yesterday and it is awesome, the blue line is my trace from last year and the red one is the results on Friday https://liv...

its all going back together as is, apart from new seals and bearings and a new clutch and top tensioner, a real pleasure to work on, everything is prestine and fits so well.

could this lambretta engine be as it left the factory ?

working on a series 2 that looks as though its never been apart before, don't think I have ever had my hands on one that's never been apart, even the top chain guide is unworn, could it be as it left the factory ? the locking tabs have never been touched. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/46857896...
