Re: Monza rebuild options?

yes a longer rod does allow you to adjust port timings by packing the cylinder up, i have also read an article that explains how the longer rod gives more torque compared to a short one, its down to the angle of the rod, longer rod less angle, i suspect it does make the engine run smoother as well, ...

Re: Suzuki 190

using your 175 barrel and boring it to use the 64mm suzuki piston is a good move, the jap piston and rings are very good, and as you have said you will be able to use your original head as well, a little bit of port work will give good results, as will setting the squish, you may have to cut the ski...

Re: Suzuki 190

i built one of these last year and it went realy well, maybe yours just hasnt been set up well, if you want better mpg maybe lowering the barrel a bit will improve things, or adding a reedvalve will improve mpg but you would lose a bit of power, who tuned the 190 ?

Re: NK Exhaust compared to Fat Mamba

i seem to remember a pipe test in scootering a long time ago and im pretty sure at the time the fat mamba had the best torque accross the rev range than any other pipe, mainly becouse of the fat body, i seem to think rayspeed did make a touring pipe with a fat body a sort of copy, i suspect you may ...
