lovely job well done,if leaving everything standard then great, i would have opened up the air scoop a bit while you had the chance bit more airflow to the filter wouldnt harm. Wulfy, you could have saved yourself a journey. Swifco are just around the corner from Scootopia and do a first rate job of blasting and powder coating. Left 2 messages with them but they never came back to me :-( Welcome to the world of customer "service" regarding scooters Andy............

Well I dropped most of the parts off at RPA Engineering in Bristol for blasting yesterday and also a few bits have gone to S&T Electroplate to be chromed (horn cover, brake pedal, rear light surround & rear name plate surround), so it finally feels like things are starting to progress now. J...

An observation mate looks like earlier forks looking at the welded on cable guide, why have they been changed in the past i wonder ? Before you paint it i would make sure the frames straight ............................and stick with 6v , just get flywheel remagnetized for good lights again Took it...

Many thanks to Chris for saving a lot of time and skin off my knuckles by turning up with his fork spring tool. Have now started stripping the bizarre textured black paint off whilst waiting for the engine to come back and also deciding who is going to do the blasting. http://i1107.photobucket.com/a...
