Hi,
I was thinking of trying a 28mm Delly on y 225. Can anyone advise what jets etc would suit this set up:
225 Classic Rapido
Remote Ramair
48mm Fresco
4:8 Gearing
Thanks

Re: TSR Evo clearance
Yes, it was the yellow one I saw and not so worried now, but ground clearance doesn't sound too good. Probably no worse than an NK road, for example?

TSR Evo clearance
Hi,
I have bought an EVO for my GP but not fitted it yet. While at Bridlington I saw a GP with one fitted and there was clear damage to the panel where the end can had been catching it. Has anybody else had a problem with lack of clearance? I don't want to risk damaging my paint.
Cheers

Gearbox endplate studs
I'm just in the process of replacing my gearbox and on reassembly one of the 7mm studs has pulled out of the casing. Most of the studs have a small crack in the casing and the dowel holes are a slack fit, too. I can get the cracks welded no problem. Am I right in thinking that you can up-size the st...

Re: Pinking
Hi,
I have strobed the timing and it's 17 @ 6000 and 16 @ 7000 rpm. Been busy so not run it yet

Re: Pinking
Update: I ordered the parts off eBay and made a pressure tester and sure enough it has an air leak. Because one of the inlet manifold stud holes is exposed due to the bore size the air is escaping past the threads on the stud. I have refitted the stud with Loctite and now it's not leaking. Apparentl...

Re: Pinking
Thanks for the replies so far. It will idle a bit lower if req'd. I discovered it wouldn't speed-up when I wanted to adjust the idle mixture at fast tick-over. The pinking is my main concern at present. I did try 3rd clip but was the same but have an AV 266 and an X13, so I'll try that. I took good ...

Pinking
Hi, First time post on here. I have just fitted a run-in 225 rapido race with an NK road pipe, Agusto 7000 and a CHT gauge. There are two problems really: at about 60mph and 6000rpm the engine will gradually start to pink and will slowly get worse if you allowed it to. The CHT shows that it is only ...
