Had email from SIP advising me to send them the shocker back for them to assess, Sent front shock back to SIP in Germany, paid £20 postage, within a week a new 2.0 SIP Shock had been delivered.
Was worth the persistence, and in the end SIP came up trumps.

HI GLScoot Thanks for the info I've removed the Front Shocker as i just dont trust it, bit the bullet and ordered a Bitubo replacement, not from SIP may i add. SIP have been back in touch today saying the may be willing to check the Shock absorber i have , if i send it to them and pay the postage bo...

I have to say I'm disappointed with SIP. Bought from SIP front shocker new from a dealer at a rally last year. Seen the recall info checked the shocker and it has id 305D which was one of the recalled batch. Contacted SIP and because I never bought it direct , and cannot contact the dealer they don'...
