Hi thanks but it is definitely a 26/26 that I saw , it's very similar to hot rod Al's Venturi from USA , I can't seem to find it now

I just nipped to Nuneaton to sort out my engine rebuild , all closed so phoned and got voice message from al saying the business is closed and no new work will be taken on , so who can build my polini 221 now , midlands area if possible please

Vespa gearing , help needed
I'm building a polini 221 with 60 mm crank , I'm looking at bgm superstrong clutch , do I go for the 24 tooth one as this will raise the gearing ( I think ) also will I need a shorter 4th gear (t5 ), can anyone give me some advise as I don't really understand gear ratios . I just want a nice torquey...

SCK have an article on building this very engine on their blog site,from memory they used a 24t clutch cog and polini crank with a standard gear box.They included a dyno in the article and it topped out at around 6000 rpm and 26 nm of torque I think. Hi , im getting all the parts together for my polini 221 , so far I have purchased the 221 kit , a mazzy 60mm crank , I'm not sure about the crank but if everyone says its not the best I will swap it , a sip road 2 exhaust and all new bearings and gaskets , next on my list is the clutch and carb , t...
