Re: Anyone know this one and is it too good to be true?

This is a known scam Take photos of scooters from forums or other for sale sites and lost themselves. Regularly happens with expensive models like Italian GP's and SX's. The difference here is that it's a bitza which probably make the price more believable Scooter is always in obscure place in Scotl...

Re: First scoot (Lambretta) which model is best for a newb?

Think you also need to establish what constitutes a budget - is it roughly 3k to have a scooter ready to jump on or 3k then be prepared to spend some more for parts / upgrades etc etc. The 125 Special is a nice bike, the panels were in brilliant original condition - but in reality its going to need ...

Re: First scoot (Lambretta) which model is best for a newb?

Gone now I think.

Probably needed a couple of bob spending on it but at that price what ever you spent you'd get back.
Maybe a bit soon anyway - get your test sorted. if you can wait until the autumn prices tend to dip then and around christmas

Re: First scoot (Lambretta) which model is best for a newb?

No idea of your budget but there is a TV175 for sale on Facebook registered and running for 3k

That's a bargain at today's prices. If I was looking or had the spare cash I'd snap his hand off. Think the page is Lambretta parts and spares

Re: First scoot (Lambretta) which model is best for a newb?

I was in a similar situation to you. My advice to you would be to pass your test as soon as you can. It removes all the debates about what you can ride. Any scooter isn't much of a help when passing your test - you will need to use a modern motorcycle. I bought an LI125 and quickly sold it - the lac...

Saw your Green / White one at New Brighton on Sunday

Looked great - loved the seat cover & the Eibar wheel disc - never seen one of those for sale

Loads of people taking pictures of it.

Wiring loom for series 2

Can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring loom for a series 2 that is the correct length

Got one at the minute that is probably 4" too short.

I bought it from a reputable dealer too not just off eBay, so I'm a bit miffed to say the least.

It's for 12v too
