Should be a big washer behind the pedal, pedal with bush, big spring over the lot, smaller washer, circlip.
Many people drill and tap the pivot so they can use a bolt to hold the small washer instead of a circlip.
The split pin attaches the doohickey that clamps the cable, to the pedal itself.

I've been asked to help a bloke out with his wiring problems. Early S3 Li150 with 4 pole stator and battery Has fitted a replacement loom, but is for a 6 pole system.
