Re: Which grease for bearings?
The grease to get, used to be Castrol BNS but that's not available anymore so I personally use Silkolene RG2 but that'll be fine for Lambretta wheel and mag bearings.

Re: Original cylinder rebored to 175 vs Rayspeed alloy 175 k
If your saying you'll end up with a premium small block kit and thats where you want to be, then don't waste your money on an interim solution. Put some money aside every month + add the cost of the AF kit/ rebore will get you where you really want to be sooner.

Engine Mounts
I'm considering engine mounts for a new casing I'm building.
There's so much choice these days but wonder what's the verdict on the extended 60's race style engine mounts. Is anyone using these and are they any better than the standard large type?

Re: KICKSTART Problem
Common solution is to have the chaincase side drilled and tapped to fit an Li ramp and chop the ramp off the endplate.
This will allow you to adjust where the piston starts to engage the first gear teeth.

Re: breathweet or evergreen opinions please
it doesn't even touch the panel on my series 2, plenty of clearance.
I'll try to get some shots on Sunday when I'm home with & without the panel.
