Electronic external pick up?
Anyone using the external type pick up. I don’t know much about them and am no electronics expert but they just seem like a no brainier? You don’t have to remove the flywheel to adjust your timing or if the pickup fails you can swap it over in a matter of minutes without any special tools. Am I miss...

Ram air filter or tea strainer?
I’m running a stage 5 Honda 205. Thinking of swapping my 30mm my 2 Amal with a new 30mm dellorto phbh (had a lifetime of spit back up my panels and over my back wheel). I want to run a filter and wanted people’s opinions on either a ram/remote air filter or a tea strainer one. I think I’d prefer the...

22/2 GP200 1970 Frame
Would a late 1970 British registered GP200 22/2 frame always have a battery tray? Also, the engine casing with it is an 83....... which suggests an SX200 engine, would it be possible for that engine casing to be the original or would have had a 25......... casing?

Fitting spring on older Vespa forks???
How the hell do you fit the spring on older Vespa forks with the damper and spring. I managed to get it out somehow but haven't got a clue how to refit the top end with the spirally bit and thread on (that sits in the spring) into the hole. Just can't seem to compress the spring enough to get the th...

To rub down or not????
Just sprayed a couple of bits with a rattle can and to be honest I'm quite pleased with the result. It's quite a shiny finish but the only problem is there are a few "blemishes" possibly where a bit of dust has been sprayed over etc. My dilemma is do I leave it and not stand the chance of ...

Cleaning small sieze marks barrel and piston?
Just stripped the top end on my missus GP and it looks like it might have had a small nip up in the past, nothing too drastic. What's the best way to clean up the sides of the piston and few small marks in the barrel?

Re: Fitting New Chain......Help!
Got the scooter up and running after fitting new clutch plates, spring, front sprocket and chain. I've noticed there's a bit of a rattle when the scooters running and it sound's like it's coming from the chaincase. I've fitted a nylon top slipper and lower chain guide and adjusted the chain to have ...
