Re: AF 5 speed boxes
Hi folks,, Is anybody running 5 speed AF boxes with 30bhp+ engines? I’m just putting together a Casa 225 engine and looking at AF boxes as the cost of the Cyclone is going to be stretching the budget too far. I know they run them in high power race machines but after some feedback from people with ...

Thanks for all the input guys - I'll make sure he gets a read of it all! Looks like it'll be the SuperTourer which is what he was hoping I think from the beginning.

Re: Brake switch 3 wires???

So.....2 wires connected together on one side of the switch and a...

Brake switch 3 wires???
Just fitted wiring loom on a rustoration GP that I have just started and found that it has 3 wires for the rear brake light - my switch only has two. Can I still use it or do I need to either change the loom or the switch???

Re: Imola engine - Super Tourer or Race?
Fran-Race for nice long straight roads, SuperTourer for hills and windy roads if you don't want to be changing gear all the time........ I enjoy the Fran-Race but it can be frustrating if you're riding in a group and are constantly trying to get in the power band. Cheers Mick1, What ratio would you...

Imola engine - Super Tourer or Race?
A mate of mine is building a scooter at the moment and has an Imola kit to stick in it - he also has Fran Race and a Fran Super Tourer exhausts in the garage. Anyone run this kit with either of these exhausts? What's your opinion of which would best suit the kit and what ratio gearing would suit eac...

Re: EGT meter fuse?
Is this what you have? https://www.scooter-attack.com/egt-gauge-stage6-s6-4037-39.html?___store=sa_en If it is then as long as there is a fuse some where between the battery and the rest of the system I'd think it would be fine. yes, one of the connectors on the regulator is for DC out. I don't thi...

EGT meter fuse?
Hello all and Happy New Year! I have just fitted a Stage 6 EGT to my Series 2. Do I need to put an in-line fuse on? If so will 3 amp be ok as I already have some in the shed? and On the Varitronic ignition, am I right in thinking that the spare connector on the regulator is to charge a battery? Many...
