Re: Early 70's style GP, Suedehead era
Bit easier to get down the side of the house as well :D Time and money with the GP, was quite an easy tidy up rather than a complete from scratch build. indeed it is this was what i was looking to replicate, as i came across this picture a while back and thought it looked cool and as i already had ...

Re: Early 70's style GP, Suedehead era
I built this bike to look like the bikes often seen in the early 70's ridden by suedheads etc definatly with the back rest although i though the suedhead look was a skelly style ... good luck with the project :D skelly's were around at the time too usually when you had just bought a knackered s2 fo...

Re: Series 1 wiring diagram, battery model
My S1 has the 3 pin brake light switch and the brake light works off the battery, so i would imagine the 3rd wire powers the switch up from the battery, so with only a 2 pin switch the engine will need to be running for your brake light to work. that makes sense and i have traced the wire that powe...

Re: Series 1 wiring diagram, battery model
Some models (even with a battery) were not fitted with brake lights from new, but have had them added later.
