People do swear by mineral oils for running in initially and you can get some good ones. Probably a good idea is to go down to the local motorbike shop and see what the kids are using in their peds. yea they be Originally had TV/SX throttle bits but found that the GP ones worked better, deepened the cable slots as the throttle and gear cables tended to ride out of their grooves due to the acute angle of the handlebars, work fine now

believe me I know.....flatten off first then spray, those little dust flecks will cause you more problems and paint waste, then you'll get frustrated and make more mess of it, be patient and take time, I done my side panels 4 times now cos of impatience and not thinking

Still needs to be run in, don't no why she's so smoky, using SIP fully syn oil 3% mix. Don't quote me on this, but it's not a good idea to run in on fully synth. I always understood it stops the rings and barrel wearing to each other. Possibly that's why it's smoking like a good un. The rings aren'...

Yep did all myself including spraying, did exaggerate downwards when wifey asked how much items cost :lol: When I built her, I just could see in my minds eye how she could be with a lot of TLC, it was expensive to build over 4k including replacing the inevitable useless parts that neither worked or ...

doesn't the PHBL use the D type needle?, if its made for a 4-stroke the atomiser would be flush with tube, I use a PHBL 22 BS, with a D22 needle, 2nd clip, standard 40 slide, AQ264 atomiser, 115 main,50 pilot and 60 choke, I had some probs when she'd wind up statically but when I tried to ride no gu...
