by the way, im not after anything hard and fast here, just interested in any similar set ups relating to this type of carb. 225 lammie, 210 vespa etc

Original inboard disc, window side. small hairline crack where the remains of a stripped hub stud refused to come out.. I was thinking a simple slot through the crack then weld up and I could shape it to suit? then get a helicoil fitted afterwards. The actual lug is still exactly as before.

Help with a repair in N. London/Herts please

Can anyone reccomend somebody local (ish) to repair my hub please? It needs a crack welding up and a reverse thread helicoil fitted :baddevil:
If now local then is there somebody trusted I could send it to for repair?
