thanks Steve but that all sounds like far too much work to me :lol: I was lucky enough last month to find a Scooterotica member (Scoots) with the remains of a GP frame who cut the back end off and posted it to me for just P&P :D I have a Mig and so I will be welding on the rear of the frame when I g...

thanks Steve but that all sounds like far too much work to me :lol: I was lucky enough last month to find a Scooterotica member with the remains of a GP frame who cut the back end off and posted it to me for just P&P :D I have a Mig and so I will be welding on the rear of the frame when I get around...

did you remove the clutch assembly to see if the back of the basket was rubbing on one of the endplate bolts or something out of sight ? Maybe a worn or wrong sized shim/s between the bearing and clutch carrier? taking up float in the mainshaft. You can get different shim thicknesses to space it mor...
