Re: RB 20
I had an RB215 built by Dan @ Scooterotica for my TV175 a few years back now - and it was a cracking engine... making 28bhp & around 19 ft/lb torque. Build spec was; RB20 cylinder kit, 62/116 Crank, GP200 Close Ratio box, AF Cassette Clutch, 34mm Delly, Fran Race pipe, 17deg static timing with B...

Re: Vespa
I’ve always used wax oil on all mine. The easiest way to do it is with an air powered under seal gun & compressor... it’s still a bit messy, but you can get right into the tunnel with it. Think mine was about £15.00 and a ltr bottle of wax oil will to fit the gun costs about £6.00. Sent from my ...

Re: RB20 long stroke
hi cartmell 808 did you use the 39mm crown piston if so how big was the base packer or did you use a 30mm crown height im just thinking from 58x116 to 62x116 Dan Clare built the engine for me Garry & I’m not sure on the size of base packer used, or piston crown height - but would assume that it...

Re: RB20 long stroke
I run a 62/116 crank in my RB200. Its ported to 130 trans / 190 exhaust, with a Franspeed race pipe, 30mm flat slide Delly, af close ratio 4speed box and 17 degrees static ignition. It was dyno’d earlier this year at 28bhp and I think 21 ft/lb torque with this set-up - had a 34mm delly on initially ...

Lovely. I used to hate things like this, but I've come to appreciate them now. So much so that I'll finish one myself on Thursday night. What motor have you got in.? Cheers Hendy - I’m really happy with now it’s all done. it has a px200 lump with 221 polini top end & reed conversion. Sent from ...

Re: Council Estate Custom
Stole some more garage time over the weekend & I managed to get it all buttoned up... cables connected - lights, switches, horn & speedo wired-up - brake hose connected, primed & bled - tank & fuel pump plumbed in and seat fitted. Put some fuel in it & it fired-up 3rd kick! https...

Not thought about a seat yet, I may just re-cover the original seat base for now.T5-190 wrote:Very nice work, just my type of resto. This old Vespa has earned every bit of its patina. Any thoughts on the seat you're going to use ?
