The problem I have with conversions/re-builds is I get to impatient and want to get things done asap and find I waste a lot of money buying something, where I actually want something else. My advice is keep looking for the 10" forks & hub as I think thats they way to go. You want your fron...

Steve I have not done one of these conversions nor seen one so can't help there. Is your front wheel the one with the four centre nuts and solid wheels or the PX type wheel rims as there are two different conversions. it has the 4 wheel nuts, but i have been looking on the SIP catalogue and they do...

that is an impressive set up for sure, the sprint or gs option are they just a straight swap Im pretty sure that it is a straight swap, but to be sure, measure from the bottom of the fork bearing to the top of the fork bearing cup on the frame and I will let you know. as you can tell GLscoot im a complete novice and although i will be getting lots of help from all the scooter lads around me im trying to keep the work that they need to do to a minimum and educate myself on the finer things of a vintage vespa
