Re: Li150 Strange Starting Issue - Vaccuum Fuel Seal? Compression Seal?
I had similar problems, after doing all the usual checks and changes, cdi, spark plug, ht lead. Was going to look at ring gap next but I was advised by chiselspeed to change my carb. Got them to fit and dyno a new Polini 23mm carb. Transformed starting the scooter. Starts all the time between 1 or 3...

Re: Adverts
The pop up adverts probably mean i wont log on here anymore. That wont be a great loss for what i contribute, but its nice to read what others are up to or as a source of information. Am now totally pissed off, having recieved over 60 emails in the last 24 hours from Scooterotica. All post from the ...

Re: Lambretta Electric start
Have a look at fairspares scooters on facebook.
The guy who runs it has been experimenting with them, with a view to selling them.
Might be worth contacting him.

Re: Series 2 hard to kick over
I have no idea on this. I have found however i am getting much improved results by pushing down the kickstart til it engages, then letting it come back up and feel it notch again once or twice. Then i kick it over. It seems a lot better this way its not jamming or missing the teeth. As i wrote earli...

Re: Series 2 hard to kick over
https://www.scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36779 I suspect in my case i have problems elsewhere, either a carb not fit for purpose, a poor ignition system or broken piston ring. I suspect user error can also be attached to me in that i am too vigorous in using the kickstart. If it doesnt fir...
