Hi Gaz, how did you do this? I've often looked at that system and wondered about it. Any pictures? Cheers.gaz_powell wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 6:17 pm ...the bearing retainer has been converted to what piaggio did on the cross over P range (studs and plates)...

Re: Clutch Enhancement?
The system in the top picture was my idea. I was sick of not being able to get in easily to the trunnion. Plus it provides relief to the cable right at the clutch arm where I previously had a couple of breakages. And as Muttley says, it makes it easier with an expansion fitted - although worth remov...

Re: lml reedvale
Usually means clutch side seal is gone when fuel and gear oil mix, often with white smoke present when starting up.
The crankcase is then pressurising the gearbox - if you block the clutch breather while it's running and the idle changes, that will confirm.

Re: PX200 timing
It's worth checking with a timing light. I have found the marks on my current stator were at least 2 degrees from those numbers.gaz_powell wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 7:06 pm A = 23 deg this was the original 200 setting

Awesome work Geoff!
I guess the big question is - was it worth the effort?

Not me Wrecklessrobbie! Just pictures I have collected.
At least one of them was done through a guy Disco Dave/David Hampson who does a lot of the rallies selling bits and pieces... long range tanks for one. Another was done by a guy I know on facebook - search for "J&G 2% Vespa Tuning".

Re: odd P2 clutch problem
Are the steels perfectly flat? Did you get plenty of separation when it was on the bench?
I just dribbled some oil on my CR80 plates and it was good to go.
