On a PX there's no lock washer on the selector rod - earlier models only.
If the conrod play is side to side it's fine. If the play is up and down you have a problem.

Re: Pit bike engine
i like this set up, makes chain alignment easier and saves space, im sure it will handle better, short swing arms are usually a very hard ride That belongs to somebody here doesn't it? OzOAP I think...from memory it only has the one gear so I don't know how that would affect the rideability of it? ...

Re: Pit bike engine
Love the idea... but the room available and the length of a pit bike motor might be difficult to resolve. The 177 on my bench at the moment is about 420mm long (swingarm to shock mount) not including the exhaust. https://sc01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1GcsvGXXXXXaWXFXXq6xXFXXXM/220567349/HTB1GcsvGXXXXXaWXFXX...

Re: Fuel Pump + float valve size with return loop?
Not sure about your float valve size question. I've used a vacuum pump and found that it would flood fairly easily. I had a main jet in the return (link between pump out & pump in) and kept upping the size until it stopped flooding - ie reducing the pressure. I ended up using the threaded thingy...

You might find that a wavy disc has enough room to fit your lock.

Are you able to get a 3-legged puller on to it?

Re: Vespa Rally 200 clutch basket
If your cush drive is buggered it can transfer the clunk directly to the clutch and speed up the wear.
Otherwise you can spend a bit more and buy a CNC clutch basket.

Re: Trouble removing air box cover
There seems to be slight differences in the length of the rear shocks. So if you put one that's a bit longer, then add the spacer nut the whole thing may be too long. You could take out the spacer nut and refit to see if that helps. If you've taken the fuel hose off the carb then sometimes you can g...

Re: Sip Speedo speed sensor fault
Maybe you have it still set to read from the cable rather than the sensor... you need to change the setting to do that.
