Re: Daily touring mileage
Bigger the group the lower the mileages. I'd say 300 is way too much even for solo, only takes one technical hitch and a bit of bad weather to make it a day from hell. 250 max for me solo nowadays and 200 if there's only 2 or 3 any more in the group and you'll be struggling to get over 150 without i...

From the Citizens Advice Bureau; "Top tip The official receiver has the power to investigate your behaviour before and after the time your bankruptcy order is made. This means you need to be sure you haven’t already done something that would count as a bankruptcy offence before you apply for ba...

So what did happen to all of that money from membership and merchandise, etc. or was he not making any profit on £20 mugs? Be interesting to hear from his members, as technically all the money from memberships and club merchandise is theirs. Is it? I don't recall seeing anything like a constitution...

Remember there are no more "traditional" scooters being made. Nor traditional scooter riders  Once the prices come down to an affordable level they'll start it all up again. There's a small group of young lads up in Derry who're getting into classic scooters, doing the sort of stuff ...

Er 5 is a kawasaki, I had their "ninja" 650 which is also a parallel twin, light, decent handling and very nippy, great fun to ride.

Re: Motorcycle options ??
Don't buy a Honda deauville.
Whatever anyone tries to tell you they aren't a good first big bike, they're top heavy, overweight and underpowered, you're almost guaranteed to drop the b@5t@rd thing.
An old oil cooled inline 4 suzuki might be a good option.

Re: Mod 1 and 2 On Scooter
I wouldn't want to take a pillion or go on a motorway on a PX125, they're scarily underpowered, your only advantage is ditching the learner plates and not having to take the CBT again. Doing it on a bigger bike means you can legally get a scooter with a larger engine. If you can use gears on a scoot...
