Series 3 with a 186 kit. Is the Franspeed over the top for my engine?

Can anyone recommend a decent kit that doesn't cost the earth. Also not too complicated to fit please.
Its to fit on a 1962 li 125 chrome ring.

The scooter has been fine for 18 months until now.
I've traced the wiring and I can not see a silver regulator. From the stator wires go to a junction box then to the blue Ducati cdi then to the loom.

Apologies to all. It isn't a old fashioned coil as I've found the blue Ducati cdi :oops: Are these always 12 volt or can they come in a 6 volt version? I can't see any markings on it. I also can't see a regulator, it seems to go from the stator to the CID and then straight to the loom, is this possi...

Its an old 6 volt system so when you say regulator is that the coil?
