Re: Side casing Hot
Hard to know if you have an issue or not; not unless you have a reference temperature to measure your engine temperature against to actually determine if you have a real issue or an imaginary issue This maybe a case of 'Lambretta paranoia' where perceived issues manifest themselves into problems whe...

Re: SX200 Lighting Problems

Re: SX200 Lighting Problems
This is from memory so apologise if not totally accurate I assume you have a way of measuring voltage, and know how to use whatever your using (eg multi-meter) 1: check you have voltage on the main feed into the headset (brown wire - depending on your loom) - if none check the regulator and the conn...

Re: Speedo cables
This was something I was trying to find the answer to a few months ago Posts on here and LCGB’s forum I read mec-eur we’re longer than scootopia so ordered a mec-eur. Only to find it was shorter than the scootopia cable I already had  The only way I could get something like an acceptable bend ...

Re: gp150 engine
A few years back folk were justifying kits and performance exhausts to keep up with modern traffic speeds.. Friday just gone I was travelling along a busy A road for a dyno, scoot maxing out at 50/55 due to over rich Artic lorries up my arse and being overtaken, blown all over the road The return jo...

Re: Speedo cable
Just for clarity I have a SX with original speedo The scooter did come with what look like original Cables. Well they were old to the point of not useable and they had cable oilers Luckily I still have them along with the speedo cable. No way that I know if it’s a original speedo cable that I know o...
