Having just returned a set of genuine SIL forks due to them being such poor quality, I'm looking for advice on best alternatives.

I'm really looking for a whole front end for a GP including disc brake, money is not really an issue with in reason as long as it is well spent.

Before I make my own, has anyone successfully used a tail can mount from another exhaust or made one for the taffspeed copy, the pipe itself is great but the mounting is terrible.

The supplied tail can bracket with the taffspeed copy is dog s**t though and it's a pain in the arse to fit
