Re: Dellorto PHBH 26mm & 30mm ref

I just thought it might be of some help to anyone about to set there scoot up with one of these carbs. I have also compiled info about all the needles and atomisers too. Some sections st...

Re: Flow rate
I found i had to ditch the inline filter on my mugello with 28mm as it wasnt up to the job. As said above, a pint in under a min seems fine. Does it still flow at that rate when the tank is say a third full? I had issues when running low with flow rate, it was fine when full. With inline filter remo...

Re: delorto jeting
Roadrunner what exhaust are you running? Have you gone from airbox to ramair? You will need to re-jet if changing the air intake on an engine.
Have a look here for a few ballpark delly setups inc a 175 kit.

Re: Lambretta Port timings
Think you might struggle to pull that gearing on that set-up. I have taken this onboard and put the 47/15 in as I dont want to fall into the old overgeared trap...this then now gives me a 5.33 final... I hope these timings run? Thats my main worry..Im going to put it together tonight and make test ...

Re: Lambretta Port timings
Im not too worried about gearing at this stage. Thats the next problem. My question is really about the port timings. It did easily pull a 46/15 before i opened the transfers etc so the 47/16 is not really a big jump but time will tell. I wil keep you posted on the gearing, i can always go to a 47/1...

Lambretta Port timings
Hi there just wonder if these seemed ok to use... Exhuast - 184 Transfers + Boost - 123 (trying to stagger the boost a tiny bit earlier, maybe?) Inlet - 163 This all on a Mugello 186 (58/107) Li150 block, opened tranfers and matched to head. Flowed as best I can. Anyone have any thoughts about what ...

Re: Help! Electrical issue - When i rev my headlight goes out!
In case any Americans are reading this and need 'Closure' I have now found the problem.....having spent the day out on my scoot with no front light it was the ideal time to find this intermittent fault.. The rear lights were working, the speedo light was working just the headlight was not working at...
