My GP totaly stock with 6v system without battery is produsing much to high voltage, blowing bulbs in seconds, even 12v bulbs. Can eyasly come up to 28v when you rev it.
How is the voltage regultatet on this machine without a regulator?
Any tip?

st TS1, BGM clubman and 30mm PHBH carb. A very smooth and powerfull "orginal" feeling, love it. Even if the pipe was more noicy than I hoped for...
My old RB22 is still going strong after many miles with now errors at all, so I would't be to afraid if its set up right.

The AF type is easyer to pull then the hydraulic you have now Rob.
The cambridge 6plate is a cheeper alternativ that also work, but harder and not same quality as the AF one...

Have you thought about 'power porting'? I am a simple minded Norwegian, so did't understand that one :roll: So what do you want to know next?
