Re: 30mm dellorto jetting help
Does 't hang up forever any more. Doesn't immediately drop to idle, wonder if the richer needle cured it. I was blipping it up to within the needle taper zone, so weak needle effecting return to idle!!! Just re tried with taped throttle, 4 strokey bit is around 1/16 throttle, so nearly shut. Don't s...

Re: 30mm dellorto jetting help
Hi all, ancillotti finally on , x13 needle in. At just below 1/8 throttle opening, I get a bit of a 4 stroke. Cackle, but the rest of the throttle positions the bloody thing flies. Clean and crisp. Retried different settings, to make sure, every combo either brings back 4 stroking up to 1/8 throttle...

Re: Beware new batch an illotti's
Yup , did hear early batches had too long link pipe, causing stand contact, a d box being under stress, causing box to fall apart. Replacement ones arrived, 1 day, thanks casa uk, they fall on, everything inline, no stress on box. Maybe sito sorted the probs briefly before totally f***ing them up ag...

Beware new batch an illotti's
Hi all, just got an ancillotti From the new batch in, after a 10 mile ride, noticed the down pipes were pickled, and this strange tin foil looking stuff brushed of, leaving a mild steel pipe. They are described as having stainless down pipes. On ringing dealer, they were mortified. I quote " bl...

Re: 30mm dellorto jetting help
Update time. As I've tried the normal lean off the Idle circuit thing, looked further, seems the needle diameter is relevant from off idle as well, as all the normal needles are the same diameter, I tried a weaker atomiser, from av266 down to a 264. Initially no different, but with a 40 pilot, yee g...

Re: Help, strange carb behaviour
Thanks. It's a SIL stage 4 200 gp, 30 mm phpb, ancillotti pipe. Came with 50 pilot, 70 choke, av266/x7 40 slide, 110 main. Blasted away fine. But 'machine gunned ' it's self to bits any time it was in the off idle to 1/8 throttle. Cleaned up instantly like a switched being thrown . Only thing that f...

Re: Help, strange carb behaviour
Thanks for reply. Set mass clearance on on choke, set float to about 26 mm to ensure not flooding, have reduced float valve for300 to 250. The original issue was 4 stroking its guts out up to 1/8 throttle, the. It was sweet. Went down on pilots up on slides, tried every combo, never had any impact o...

Help, strange carb behaviour
Hi all, so my idle is cool, but slightly rich, plug a tad wet, but my revs take a week to drop. So I'm too weak and too rich at the same time. Bloody dellortos, come back Amal, all is forgiven! Any ideas would be very gratefully received. P.s you've guessed it, the carbs a 30 mm phpb.

Re: 30mm dellorto jetting help
Many thanks for replies, main jet is a 110, so will go up to 120, did think I was too small, but as running in wasn't to bothered. Ordered ancillotti so will try again and let you know. One observation, the ' cackling' is happening just off idle, and thinking on it, the scoot always did it, even wit...
