Re: Exhaust Bracketry!!
MB's Devtour rear support bracket fits perfect to the JL3, with nothing else needed. The bracket also as the advantage of picking 4 of the chaincase side studs up and is fastened flush to the side, not hung out on long bolts.

Re: Exol Optima FST Full synthetic racing two stroke
I am sure Groundsman would show more wear and build up of carbon etc than say an ester based oil Eden has stripped his motor a few times when he tested it,didnt see any build up.If i encounter any problems,i`ll post it but who can be sure when their big end goes its 100% down to the oil? I`ll keep ...

Re: Exol Optima FST Full synthetic racing two stroke
Groundsman is PP2 but labelled for Industrial/agricultural use. Personally I wouldn't use in a tuned Motor, but I do know some use semi-synthetic oil in TS's and RB's. Most oils whether fully synthetic or semi, ester based or a straight mineral oil will run ok, it's when you strip the engine that yo...

Re: gearbox oil AG 90
ST90 is a straight SAE 90 monograde gear oil and is available from several manufacturers. But, contrary to the Lambretta manual and other publications, you don't now have to stick with this basic oil. Gear oils are rated with a GL number from GL1 to GL6, SAE 90 is a GL1 oil and as such as no EP addi...

Re: lambretta ts1 rear shock
Are you using standard Inlet Manifold? If so get MBD Manifold. or Offset Cones. I have MBD Manifold with 5mm packer for Boyssen Reeds and only Rear damper that fits so far is Taffspeed. But I'm sure without the packer I could get a BGM on.

Re: Lambretta End Plate Stud Failure?
The GP type endplate problems I have seen, have not been any issue with damage to the studs, but if the nuts become loose the Dowel holes become elongated and sometimes break a lump off the engine casting around the Dowel hole. In my opinion it is worth doing the conversion to the Li Kickstart Ramp,...

Re: Tubeless rims in the UK?
Had my wheels a couple of days, bought from Chiselspeed last week. Had the 3.50 x 10 tyres fitted at Ron Daleys in Barnsley, they used machine to fit, but stalled at last 6 inches and finished off with tyre levers with not much effort. I too am a little concerned with the gap between the lugs on the...

Re: Dowty washers for hydraulic brake hoses.
10mm dowty Seals should be available from your local Hydraulic Hose and Fittings supplier. I use them, but don't know the effect brake fluid has on the Nitrile rubber within the seal, although I think the Hose supplied by some Disc brake manufacturers comes with Dowty Seals. As for copper seals thes...
