Hello all. What's the view on DOT approved full face crash helmets in the uk? Are they legal? I'm assuming you would not be covered in a personal injury claim? Thoughts please??

I'm thinking of an big auto for the commute. Whilst I like the look of the scomadi, the lack of a dealer network where I am (Kent) puts me off. Also, the storage space doesn't seem as good as, say, a Gts. As far as the Chinese argument goes, ive been shocked at the (many) reports on FB of Gts' going...

Hello all. Mechanical numbnut.. Can someone explain to me what a reed valve is/ does ( I know it's to do with carburation- is that a word??) can you fit them to any carb/ manifold, and what benefits do they provide? Just looking for knowledge

Thank you all for your comments. My commute is 35 mile round trip and I'd probably just run it into the ground, so I may go for the Lml, as I won't bother selling on. Keep the Lammy for best! Cheers
