back in the 70's my pal re-tapped his chaincase to a coarser Whitworth thread and used bolts without any problem.

Hi all, I'm currently restoring 2 S2 TV175's, my plan is to keep them standard and see how they ride. One has the uprated 21mm BS7 carb and the other has the older 21mm BS5. bit of a lottery in my experience, even the expensive ones need a bit of tlc to get to fit flush. casa are as good as any.

I got an AF tool, but nothing short of surgery works on old cranks. good tip with the freezer tho 👍
