ACID DIPPED/VAPOUR BLASTED CASINGS
I'm about to start building an engine but the casing has quite a bit of oxidisation due to it having been laid up since 1970. I've always just cleaned casings up in a parts washer before rebuilding them in the past but this time I'm looking to try something a bit different. I have a side casing that...

Re: TV 200 CHROME RING
SX 150 and 200s were all non chrome ring but the TVs were chrome ring to start with and the last of the TV models were non chrome ring. The reason I ask is I'm sure an old TV 175 of mine was around that number and had a chrome ring. As both the 175 and 200s used the same numbering I would just like ...

Re: TV 200 CHROME RING
Really good fit marra and with an SX / GP type steering lock stop, correct headset, horncast and legshields, fibreglass mudguard. Numbers really clear, no IGM and no sign of tampering. I have a TV 175 which was one of the last 300 made that is non chrome ring but thought it was literally just the la...

TV 200 CHROME RING
Hi folks, was after a bit of information regarding the Series 3 TV 200. I've just been to look at one over the weekend and the frame number has the correct TV3 prefix followed by a frame number 5490++ but the frame is non chrome ring.I know that the very last few 200s and 175s didn't have the chrome...

Engine Swap
Morning folks, I'm in need of someone to swap an engine over in my scooter and strobe it in.
I'm in the Sunderland area and would normally do this myself but due to work and a trapped
nerve in my neck I'm struggling.
Can anyone recommend someone within about an hour radius.
Cheers in advance.

Scooter transport
Hi, does anyone know of any dedicated scooter couriers ? Reason I ask is I normally take or pick them up myself if I've got time but last year I had one delivered and they'd strapped it down by the headset and snapped the gear change side off. They did pay for the headset but some of these parts are...

Re: ebay menace !!

ORIGINAL LOOKING FIXING KITS
I'm trying to get a complete and original looking fixing kit for a GP so the scooter looks as it did when it came out of the factory. I've got a complete stainless kit with allen headed bolts but don't want to use it on this particular scooter. Has anyone had a kit lately and where did it come from ...

Re: Well, won't be buying from Willenhall Scooters again!
Problem isn't the money with these parts it's the fact that if they're not fit for purpose why sell them. If you buy from somewhere that is just selling parts and not actually using them, they will have no idea if they are any use at all. I think most of us realise that a certain amount of fettling ...
