SIL Sunny crank - anyone ever had one?
Can anyone tell me anything about the SIL Sunny crank? Do they fit Lui/J or Vega/Starstream casings? What about stroke, conrod length and big-end dimensions?

It does'n even fit on Ser.3 without cutting.

GPM pistons - are they ok?
I'm working on an SX150 engine with a quite new GPM piston. I've seen pictures of cracked GPM 66mm pistons on the MB "Gallery of horrors". - Any expierience with the 150 pistons?

That needs replating or replacing. The plating will begin th chip arround the score.

have you actually ridden far with your feet back there ? I found it too far back for me, so went this way : http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc39/byronjarv/rearsetLO2.jpg using kawasaki pegs, some bits of GSXR hangers, homemade brackets and Scooter Loopy John exhaust clamps on engine mounts. Nice...

Do you mean the horncasting embelisher for the series 2? They are made of brass and can be solderd.

Nice Topic! I just thought about how to get rid of the big flywheel holfer in my rally toolkit last night. Togehter with the "self compression clutch" almost everything goes into the toolbox!
