just let darrel taylor do it,, or get an imola dont bother matching the cassings just bolt it on, matching casings wont make mutch difference and if your building it yourself you wont have to pull the casing apart to do it so you will make the job easier, 28 mil carb and the PM pipe shoulg give you ...

in my old one i tried indian 200 crap, indian 150 crap, italian LI 150 loads better, soz i cant remember the sprocket sizes but it had a JL3 and 28 mikuni,un matched casings, 18 bhp went like stink and the only TS1 that ever beat me was a 240, and that only cought me in 3rd gear, oh and it was built...

dont be scared to have a go, these things are easy to work on yourself,
just take your time ( with stickys book at your side ) and check everything twice,
after a while you will be thinking its simple,

one of the main things that will make it seize is silly revs making it hot, i dont think that is your problem though. like otheres have seid on here check for leaks and timing. if you are conserned about it getting hot with the pannels on i would cut some holes in the top of the pannels as the heat ...

your meant to clean your filter regularly with proper stuff that will stop water and dust geting through it, it gives the filter a thin coat of oil
