Got a mig welder coming and intend to do my own welding on my latest resto, question is what thickness steel plate should i use? Gonna start on the rear runners first, any other welding advice mucn appreciated !

Casa 185 fitted with a 25mm phbl (straight out of the box) through a drilled airbox. Pipe is AF clubman. Starts fine, runs ok, but will only tick over fast with a little pressure on the throttle. Idle screw seems to have no effect??

Cheers chaps, got it out using needle nose mole grips, following the carb being left in my new (off ebay) ultrasonic cleaner, ill put a post up on this later, including pictures.

Anyone got a tip to remove a pivot pin from a dellorto (standard SH) tried pulling with long nose pliers, no chance, do i have to destroy the float? Cheers.

Is it possible to refurb the older series 3 brass type fuel tap or have i got to live with the zinc coloured replacement. Cheers.

Ever tried an anticlockwise drill bit? Had a snapped at base exhaust stud , filed flat, dot punched centre, spun out...

Dellorto phbl 25mm thru standard (drilled) airbox?

Cheers chaps, i did have a quick try just with a 45 deg guide and i cut the rubber cable guide off the frame , getting closer. Then just the choke to sort!
