Re: variatronic

There are two larger rivets that can be used just loctite them in place. I,ve ...

Re: What have i done wrong?

I ha a similar problem with mine, using the MB spider. Problem was that using 5 thin corkd and steels the centre was sitting so high it was compressed by the clutch lever in side casing, cured problem by fitting 2 thin corks and 3 thick corks thereby bringing the clutch centre back in.

Re: Advice on which new lathe to buy

The Clarke lathe has a good capacity for a reasonable price, however to move the carriage slide you have to use a graduated handle at the rear of the lathe, this is beacuse it was originally a mill/lathe combination. Re: imola ppl need advice on additions???

before I blew mine, I was running a Vijay Mk1 with 17-46, 30mm dellorto and JL3 and it would fly. Unfortunately I was using a normal varitronic and guess what , the flywheel came loose. Was a terrific motor when running though

Re: R1 Shock Snapped !

When I fitted mine I thought about this rotation so instead of just tightening the nuts top and bottom I backed the nut off and used a locking compound on the thread. A spring washer stops any side to side movements but allows it to move as suspension compresses. Will keep an eye on it now though.
