The blue TV 175 series 3 is my favorite all time scooter, I've had a few through the years, one of them almost as good as yours.

Sava white walls are known for exactly this problem and are death traps. I'm surprised there are any still around being used.

There were seal problems with alot of the early BGM shocks, try contacting Scooter Center.

My advice would be to send a 150 barrel and head to a tuner like Harry Barlow at Pro Porting. Get it bored to 175 and a stage 4 tune ,using an Asso or Escort piston. It will run really well with a 20mm carb and Clubman. The piston and tune/rebore costs about £140-150 including machining the head. If...
