Re: Endplate fixing studs
I had a similar dilema, the MB bolts are threaded 25mm so plenty of 'meat' in the casing, i prefer the studs into alloy so looked about and Citreon 2CV exhaust bolts are a good alternative, total 40mm with 20/13mm threaded with a 7mm central section, also hardened !

Re: Quattrini M1XL
I had a similar dilema on the flywheel and made a few expensive mistakes, basically the larger transfers on the barrell effectively 'bulge' out which means many of the traditional flywheels (inc HP4) do not fit, they foul the transfer when fitted. The Vespatronic does clear with room to spare, i sus...

Re: Flywheel weights (Monza Breakdown)
Fully torqued, used a nut gun to undo! Which was more baffling as to why it gave in.
I have had this happen on a small frame once and also a high BHP screamer, went to a varitronic 1.2kg flywheel and no problem since (may again not be connected) hence my thoughts on flywheel weights on tuned motors.

Re: Flywheel weights (Monza Breakdown)
Cheers Gary, yes all fine until yesterday, can't remember where the key came from, ordered a couple of hardened ones from a gear specialist so I know these are right (no doubt some Far East ones made of cheese!)

Flywheel weights (Monza Breakdown)
On the way back from the Leicester rally yesterday, gave the scoot the beans off a roundabout (9K in 2nd) and pop!, cruised to a stop, quick check and no spark, got the bike home, did all the usual checks and worked backwards....... end result a sheared keyway and a spun flywheel. A scary few minute...

Re: GRP Panels
I have the GRP vented panels (street racer in show us your scoots section) perfect fit as mould is a genuine panel, painted all fine.
Chris is a real craftsman and made the one off front panel also fitted, good service with a 3-4 week turnaround.
PM me and i can give you his mobile if that helps

Re: Smallframe Crank
The small frame clutch is on a taper, similar to the flywheel, requires the correct tool
