Piston bore clearence for 210 malossi

Can anyone give me the wear tolerances for the 210 malossi kit.my mate got given a kit and I measured the piston/bore clearence as .35mm,seems a lot but not sure.

Re: Reed block manifold

Yeh it was opened and matched to a different manifold,I was tempted to match the new manifold but was thinking on the same lines as you.I think it might be better to try it as it is as see how it goes.

Reed block manifold

Just bought a new mrb reed block but my inlet on the casings is bigger than the block. There is no obstruction to the flow of fuel from the block to the casing but was wondering if fuel would not be transferred properly because of it.Any advice appreciated

Re: final drive ratio

Does it pull two up at 5500rpm with that ratio?I was only quoting 7000 as a figure out of the air, just wondered what people thought as its difficult to get a realistic understanding of what torque figue can pull what gearing under what conditions.

final drive ratio

I see all sorts of dyno graph's posted and have often tried to figure out a real world comparison of what torque figures are required to pull a set gear ratio. So here's a question for all those experienced tuners on here, how much torque does an engine have to produce at 7000 rpm to pull a final dri...

Re: fuel consumption malossi 220

Thanks for the comments and to answer some of what's been said ! No I don't Cain it everywhere,it's got a final drive ratio of 4.77-1,I wanted to try and make it as torquey as poss lower down to pull longer gearing, the jetting has been played with over the last couple of months but I have run it wit...

What mpg should I be getting from my 220 malossi, set up is 30 delly carb,210 malossi kit (old type) rd type reed valve,60mm bell crank, casings matched to cylinder and rz right hand pipe, its doing about 30mpg and I got a standard tank so loads of stops when doing a run,any way of increasing fuel econ...

Re: Cyclone 5 speed final drive ratio

Ok if it revs out in 4th on the 5.22 ratio then you can go longer, my rapido 225 runs 4.95 and has a nk rally pipe it continues to pull on to 7500 rpm in forth no probs so I'm gonna go a bit longer to try and get the same road speed with engine not revving so hard. I'm thinking 4.8 but don't think I...

Re: Cyclone 5 speed final drive ratio

How did it go with the 5.22 final drive ratio, did it rev out in forth? The jump between 3rd and 4th on the standard indian box is quite close(19%) so the jump on the cyclone 4th to 5th wont be that much closer.
