Re: malossi 210 longstroke

Long stroking it will help with the torq side of it and will aliviate some of the up and down the gear syndrome.Never done the mods that Norrie is suggesting but sounds like that will help too.Norrie 2mm squish, why so much?

Re: malossi 210 longstroke

If the speedo is accurate then that's a good speed for a 18hp engine.dont expect much more from long stroking the motor.

Re: malossi 210 longstroke

With the cylinder head gasket it is a bit more torquey low down and more pull when not in the power band.I just did one for my mate and he said it was a lot better than the 57mm stroke ones he has had when not revving in the power band, him and his mrs went out the other day and he was amazed it just...

Re: malossi 210 longstroke

Try knocking the timing back a little.a lot of people say the same thing about pinking when rolling the throttle off,it seems a problem where the motor is still at the rpm where the expansion chamber is sucking fuel in and we effectively shut off the fuel supply by rolling off the throttle and use t...

Re: SIP speedo heat sensor..

you can get it to fit under the spark plug but you need to grind away the raised lip around the spark plug on the cylinder head. Impossible to do with cylinder head intact it needs to come off and make sure there is a gash spark plug fitted to stop you damaging the seal between plug and head. cheers...

Re: GT big block experiance

Thanks, when you say going up the rev range a bit just how much do you mean?Lots of people get confused by this because they buy a cylinder kit which is ported to rev and deliver power at a certain point. They fit said kit set the ting as directed and think that's fine for the range of the kit. There a...
