Mine was f@@ked, drilled and tapped. Brass washer to take up slack and a 50p coin on the end with a stainless m4 bolt through. Other option is chop it off at the base, drill and tap to m8x1.25 and fit a brake shoe pivot pin which is the same diameter and has a circlip groove the right size 👌 slight ...

After the recent record and advancements by darrell Taylor, I wouldn't bother. Nice though it is to see smooth matched transfers, 58bhp and 127mph on an untouched, unwelded Italian case speaks volumes to me. That and the back to back testing of engines in a wide range of tunes before and after match...
