Re: PX 125 Gearing

Agree with Paul as above. Only thing I would add is that If your current clutch is a good one, id consider buying just the 21t center cog. Less than a new clutch and if your current one works them why not use it. Personally I would put slightly stronger springs and honda cr80 plates in, and band it....

Phbh choke cable

What are guys doing for a choke cable on a phbh, fitted to a px? Mines just using a stranded normal inner bent over like the original wire was but that's a bit of a bodge. I've used the SIP choke knob with the grub screw before but I don't like it. Surely there's a correct way to do it?

Re: PHBH Carb Question

I actually don't have one fitted, never had one when I bought the scoot. Never had a problem either. 20bhp malossi 210, used long distance from time to time at a fair old speed. Just my experience

Re: Clutch springs

Still looking for advice on this if there's anyone out there with an answer, really just looking for an older style spring with a weight between standard and the SIP "SPORT L"
Thanks again

Clutch springs

Hi, I've just put together a new clutch for my malossi 210 with some lovely parts from sip. It's a 7 spring CNC basket with a reinforced circlip, honda plates and grooved centre bush. I've used sip 'sport' springs which are marked 'L' in the description. I do find them a bit excessive in lever pull ...

Re: Lambretta Rear Brake Adjuster

I've used a threaded cable from the rear brake of a piaggio et2 for this if it helps anyone. I've a strong feeling all those 50cc piaggio autos use the same one.
Cheap as chips.
Cut it to size obviously

Re: Pwk ballpark jetting?

Both useful, particularly the modernvespa site. A few threads on there detailing the tribulations of others trying to use the same carb. Unfortunately I'm still not managing to get any closer. I've been through all the jets i have and still too rich. I have gone down to a 32 pilot and a 102 main whi...

Re: Beedspeed

Strangely i find the sip website to be a great site to use! And in fact in my opinion sip in general are superior in many ways. But there again im a vespa man and have had lots of practice using the site. I can understand ifyou're lambretta orientated then it's not very well stocked but there are pl...
