Re: Remade Side Panels

I ordered and received a pair of LIS panels from Scootrs about four years ago and they were fine, definitely machine pressed, for £44 each!!, I don't know this for a fact but knowing how much tooling cost there is probably only one manufacturer of replacement panels, and they are probably in vietnam...

Re: Increase carb size on 177 kit

I've got a 24/24 on a two port Pinasco 177, done over 1000 miles, its got standard P200 jetting but is a bit rich, plenty of smoke on startup. Ive just drilled out holes to the heart shape in air filter and not ridden since so hopefully it'll weaken it be better now.

Re: Scootopia Vespa Big Bore vs Sito and Sip 2.0. Exhausts

Ive done about 1000 miles on a Pinasco 172 with the scootopia exhaust, no problems at all, goes well, it definitely needs one of the springs supplied fitted incase it slips off cylinder which mind did after fitting, tight on now but its just incase.

Vespa GT125 2 port clutch gear upgrade

Hi im restoring a Vespa 67 GT125, planning on putting a cast Pinasco 177 kit on, however i understand the clutch cog can be changed to alter the gearing, SIP do several different sizes and I can't find the most suitable size to use, many people must have done it but can't find anything on web, can a...

Re: Scootopia SH2/22

I have one fitted from the first batch, much better quality than a jetex which isn't surprising, does what it says on the tin runs fine and looks and acts like a SH2/22

Re: What are the pros and cons of cast iron vs. aluminium ba

Going back to original post, I have a Gori sport 200 kit fitted, ive done a few thousand miles on it, good for 60mph + i run through airbox with a 22mm carb. As mentioned i like the idea that you get warned by an iron cylinder before it heat seizes, it nipped up on way back from Tenby after thrashin...

Re: Mugello 198, Delly 25mm, ScootRs pipe - jetting?

I had a very similar setup, only difference was a 264 atomiser and a 100 main, id up main jet to 105 and see if this cures it

Re: 25mm Dellorto set up....grrrrr :(

I've got the same setup, but have had to go down to a 40 pilot jet to get it set up right and also start when warm, gave up on the drilled air box in the end and went to a remote filter, didn't make loads of difference though, D22, 264, second clip from top, 60 choke, 100 main.

Re: Scootopia mounts.

I had my mounts replaced at scootopia recently, i have noticed a bitmore vibration which i would expect. My old mounts were soft as marshmallow and realy worn, great for soaking up vibrations but not good when cornering :(
