I managed to cut through a couple of the wires when I fixed the headset top, leaving the wire very short, then proceeded to partially melt the connector when trying to extend the wires with a gas soldering iron,does anyone know the type of connector used on these speedos (it's the 2 wire one I need ...

Just about to try mine out with a measured circumference of 1320 , assuming this does not match the GPS perfectly should tyre size be fine tuned or the speedo gear ratio.... can't get my head round which one would impact the odo , I think tuning the tyre size would mess that up???

.....my replaced BGM clubman has arrived, brilliant customer service from scooter Centre.. 8-) Which is good but if it drops to bits like the first one then what's the point?? Well I have had a few issues with SC parts but you cannot doubt their customer service, only letting them know about issues...
