(Stock ignition, crank and carb with new ring's and big bore exhaust) In Scooterotica's old article (Dan's P200 vs Dave's T5) Dan's P200 motors simply had th...

Why so loud?
I recently removed the head and base gasket from my Lambretta motor with a Rapido Classic kit (Ancilolttie exhaust, 28mm Delly) which made the motor run properly. More power, smother operation, faster scoot, etc, etc... Another benefit is that the motor is now much more quiet, why? Keep in mind that...

Re: Which Kit??
I have been trying to find the article/topic/link which I read a few months ago now, but the lads here at Scooterotica had a post explaining how they can port up a 150 cylinder with very empressive results.
May want to give them a call for some advice.
Just another option to consider.

Re: Gasket Help
Make sure you are using a liquid gasket, gasket maker or gasket eliminator type product (Loctite 515) and not a gasket dressing product which is meant to be used with a normal gasket.
I just used Hondabond4 on my cylinder base and head. So far so good but it has only been 20miles or so.
