LTH rapido

Just been on the LTH site and seen their rapido 225 kit with reed valve ,does anybody have any info on these good or bad , as was looking to buy one

Can't help much with the tech side of things but with lammy parts you get what you pay for so cheap won't all ways do what you want !! So take your time and get the best parts you can, you will enjoy it better if you don't break down all the time .

The one thing i have learnt about Lambrettas and parts is you get what you pay for !!! So tread carefully

Lead pellets ? Aren't the heads reprofiled so we don't have to use these or do they just improve things , also whats the benefits from using the pellets .

Everybody i have spoke to have said it's ok in your engine but just wanted to check if it will effect the nikaseal. It seems to be a worth while addition to your petrol but just wanted to double check :?:

Answer three - From what i saw of it it was very good indeed and a very clear,you see what is happening step by step and in real time which helps as nothing is skipped ( Sauasage does make you cringe some times but he certianly knows his stuff)

Have you checked the ones in the back of stickys manual , saying that when i re wired mine nothing matched up anyway, it was a case of trail and error.

The new sil engines need a complete check from seals to squish to timing you just have elimanate one problem at a time, did this with mine and know it is like a new engine whish i had done it straight away and saved my self a load of haed scratching !!

I think it all depends on what day it is assembled , you may have a Tuesday or Wednsday one there but if you are unlucky to get a Monday or a Friday afternoon one i think they may just be thrown together by a very bored or drunk mechanic !! Just my oppinion but it would explain some of the s**t that...
